A couple years ago, I went to Wal-Mart to buy some of my favorite targets (I’ll tell you about them sometime soon) but they were out.
I had my Malinois with me, and we used the garden exit so she wouldn’t have to walk on hot pavement any more than necessary.
Pool noodles were on sale…cheap…and I had an idea.
I got some, sliced them into sections, and I had myself a set of reactive targets for about 10c apiece and we’ve been using them ever since. Click this video to see me using them as a plate rack:

We shoot them with Airsoft, live fire, and my new favorites…the Sig P320 and P226 CO2 powered pellet and BB pistols and the Glock 19 CO2 bb gun from Umarex. (Let me know if you want to see a review of those pistols…my 9 year old uses the Sig P226 to shoot IDPA now. He can’t shoot IDPA with a real gun yet because of the angle of the bullet when he needs to make close head shots.)
Have fun with this one. It’s a great way to add variety to your at-home training.
