If You Find Yourself In A Fight For Your Life,
Your First Fight Is Going To Be Getting To Your Gun
But What If You Can't Get To Your Gun?
It's way more likely than you may realize
It happens every day to law enforcement and civilians alike when they suddenly find themselves fending off an attacker before they even have a chance to get a gun into the fight.
It happens every night in home invasions when the homeowners are in their PJs and their guns are just out of arm’s reach…or in the next room.
In fact, in a 5 year study of armed citizens who successfully stopped assaults, they had to fight to their gun 80% of the time! (I’ll tell you more about this in a bit)
That’s reality. But almost nobody’s training reflects it.
But that’s going to change for you right here…right now.
You may think that your head’s always on a swivel and you’re always ready for an attack.
But if you are targeted for violence, your attacker will do what most successful 2 and 4 legged predators do…use skill & deception to close the distance before starting their attack.
That means it’s way more likely that your attacker won’t be 21 feet away when you decide it’s time to go for your gun…21 inches is much more likely.
Most attacks don't happen when your head is on a swivel
and you're ready...
and you're ready...
They’ll stalk until you’re distracted or compromised and they see their opportunity.
You may not see them coming or know that you’re the target until they’re on top of you.
Even if you’ve got great situational awareness skills and see them coming from a distance, you may not be justified in going to your gun until they’re too close.
And then, while you’re fumbling for your gun, they’ll use speed, surprise, and violence of action to take you out of the fight.
They’re simply not going to give you the time or space to get your gun into the fight, no matter how fast your draw stroke may be.
Personally, I can react, draw, and hit a man sized target in less than .8 seconds…2 hits in under a second…but even that’s not fast enough when your attacker is on top of you and you’re behind the curve.
If an attacker sees you going for a gun, they’ll block your draw stroke and try to take your gun to use against you and those you love.
Which is why,
Unless Your Gun Is Already In Your Hands,
You MUST Have A Plan To Fight To Your Gun
You MUST Have A Plan To Fight To Your Gun
In real world criminal ambushes and assaults, going straight to your gun usually isn't the right answer.
First, you need solid, proven techniques to block the attack, turn the tables, and immediately counter-attack. THIS will give you the time and space you need to get your gun into the fight.
You need techniques that will work if you’re off balance, if the threat’s at an odd angle, if you’re stuck in a seat, being shoved against a wall, or other chaotic, full-speed, real-life situations that don't happen in a dojo.
You need techniques that work if you’re dealing with injuries, aren’t as strong as you’d like, or even if you’re not the most coordinated person in the world. At the same time, they need to work for full time warriors and protectors who are at the top of their game.
You need techniques that take almost no time to learn and less to practice.
You’ve got to know how to get the job done with your hands or whatever you’ve got in your hands, regardless of whether it’s a bag, drink, phone, or keys. Because there just isn’t going to be time to get to whatever weapon you’ve got in your holster, pocket, or bag until you create it.
As Responsible Gun Owners, We MUST Have The Skills
To Actually Get Our Gun Into The Fight
For It To Help Us
To Actually Get Our Gun Into The Fight
For It To Help Us
Otherwise your gun won’t do anything to protect you and may end up being taken by your attacker.
Situational awareness helps with this A LOT, but nobody has 360 degree awareness 24/7. It’s simply not realistic. Even elite military and law enforcement teams get ambushed from time to time. If it can happen to elite warfighters, it can happen to you.
So, we must have simple, easy, proven techniques to bridge the gap between defending ourselves from a surprise attack and getting our firearm or other defensive tool into the fight.
I’m not talking about traditional martial arts or MMA where you swing the 27 fragile bones in your hand against someone’s head. I’m talking about empty handed tactics and techniques that are as effective at stopping threats as a gun.
In fact, sometimes they’re quicker.
You need tactics and techniques that will end the fight or give you the time and space you need to get your gun into the fight.
And that’s why I’m excited to share a special empty hands training program that we created specifically for responsible gun owners.
I’ve taught this to hundreds of students, but for the training I’m going to share with you today, I wanted to bring some guys in who have more real world experience with violence.
Considerably more experience.
But this had to be more than just some guys with impressive skills and resumes wowing you with what they could do after years of practice.
In order to be worth my time and yours,
I had a few very specific criteria for the training:
I had a few very specific criteria for the training:
- First, the training has to be SIMPLE
- Second, it has to be QUICK...both to learn and practice. Specifically, it had to pass the "Can You Learn It In 2 Hours And Survive An Attack Tonight?" test that I'll tell you about.
- Third, it has to be proven EFFECTIVE in real world violence and integrate with firearms
If you’ve been around self-defense training and combatives for long, you know how important those criteria are, but you also know that they’re almost impossible to meet.
It's pretty common for "gun guys" to look for a gun answer to every problem and for "combatives guys" to look for combatives answers to every problem.
The reality is that you need an integrated approach that combines both...but in a way that recognizes the fact that you aren't sitting on a ton of extra time for training.
And that’s why I went to Threat Resolution Science for this training. You see, they’ve already been using and testing it in the real world for 20+ years. They understand real world violence and high performance.
It’s important that you know a little bit about their backgrounds so you can appreciate how effective their approach is.
The Threat Resolution Science team is made up of Dr. Eric Cobb (from Z-Health), Tyler Christian, and Leo Porras.
Doc has 30+ years of martial arts and combatives experience. Numerous trips to dangerous regions of the globe have caused him to be the target of violent assaults & ambushes through the years. He has experience facing and surviving multiple knife, stick/bat/pipe, and firearms attacks and that real-world experience shows in the training. He also happens to be one of the top experts in the world in performance neurology and is my mentor in that regard. The combination makes him incredibly unique and it’s why other top instructors have such high respect for his teaching methods and techniques. As a result of the effectiveness, over the last 20+ years, he’s instructed more than 1,000 tactical law enforcement and various elite military units and teams from other government agencies operating in high-threat areas overseas.
Tyler is a police sergeant with a long history of SWAT (300+ dynamic entries) as well as various drug and violent crimes task forces on the West Coast. He’s an accomplished competitive shooter with multiple Washington State IDPA Championships. As an officer, pursuing the worst of the worst, he's regularly faced bigger, stronger attackers for the last 2 decades.
Leo is a 2013 Jiu Jitsu world champion as well as a law enforcement Defensive Tactics instructor. He’s had more than 5,000 full-speed limited “guidelines” fights…many with multiple opponents during his years of training law enforcement on the West Coast.
Their training is for real world violence based on their experience with real-world violence and training law enforcement to survive worst case scenarios. It’s not based on theory, what works in a dojo, or what works in a bar when a couple of meat heads are arguing over a girl. The effectiveness of their training is why they’re alive and played a part in why thousands of others are alive today.
It’s based on what has repeatedly worked in the real world to take care of chaotic worst-case scenarios where it just doesn’t work to go straight to your gun.
And, although there are aspects that look similar to other systems, it is different than anything you’ve seen in the past.
I told you that it had to be simple, quick, and effective...here's what I mean:
- It must work for adults of all ages, regardless of your size, strength, speed, or previous training. It has to work even if you have no athletic ability and no martial arts or self defense background. And it has to work for you without requiring you to buy additional gear.
- It must be taught in a way that if a petite real estate agent KNEW that she was going to be attacked that night at a showing by bigger, stronger, meaner attackers and she only had 2 hours to learn how to defend herself, she could do it with this training. After learning it, you need to be able to practice it in 3-5 minute chunks, just a couple times a week.
- It has to be proven in real life conflict where one of the goals is to transition to a weapon like a gun. It must provide a significant advantage to people who have been around violence their entire lives and already know how to fight. It can’t use strikes like bare fists on faces that will often compromise your ability to use your gun, knife, or other more effective tools.
That combination makes it perfect for someone who has no combatives experience, but wants to know how to be safer without spending hours a week in a dojo.
If you have an out-of-town loved one who was going to be assaulted tonight, and you only had 2 hours to get them ready, THIS is the training you'd give them.
And, it 's just as valuable for someone like me with 2+ decades of martial arts and combatives experience who's a serious student of integrated fighting with empty hands, improvised weapons, blades, sticks, and guns.
With this training, you'll go way beyond what you can practice on 99% of shooting ranges and dive into gun training for the real world.
Best of all, you'll learn how to train these skills at home...with or without a training partner.
You'll learn things like...
- Simple techniques for fighting to your gun in real-world attack situations like when you’re pressed against a wall, in a chair, or on the ground.
- How to use your body’s natural startle-flinch response to react quicker than it’s possible to do traditional “self defense” blocks.
- The trick to weaponize your startle-flinch response to quickly scramble your attacker’s brain and shut down their attack to buy you time to get your gun into the fight.
- The critical, yet simple details that will turn the everyday objects in your hands, like bags, drinks, phones, & more into your first line of defense and effective fighting tools. (Almost every single person I’ve trained THOUGHT they could do this, but few have been able to without practice.)
- How to move beyond striking and shooting from “fighting stances” that work great on the range and in a dojo, but fail in a real attack when you’re off balance and stumbling backwards. You’ll quickly and easily become more effective defending and fighting from the chaotic, unstable positions that happen in real attacks.
- You’ll learn and master the devastating “camshaft” strike…and see why it may be the best weapon you’ve got when you’re too close for anything else.
- The “seat belt” and “violent back scratch” elbow strike techniques that are MUCH more effective in a fight for your life than traditional elbow strikes taught for competition and striking bags. Combine them with “pull the hand” and “the rip saw” and you may HOPE someone picks you up in a bear hug.
- Easy “non-violent postures” that will let you respond to threats more quickly AND that can reduce your liability by making it clear on video and to witnesses that you are the good guy.
- Drills to help you get your gun into the fight when you aren’t wearing it. 80% of the time when good guys use guns to stop an assault, their gun isn’t in a holster on their waist, but how much of your training time takes this reality into account? The unfortunate truth is that if you’re not doing these drills you’re unprepared for 80% of attacks where you may need to use your firearm.
- “Sticky hands” training that will help you transition your defense into a fight-ending offense, even if your vision is compromised.
Once you've got your gun in the fight, you can address your threats from further away OR hold your attackers at bay while you call for help or get somewhere safe.
Some of what I learned from them revolutionized my thinking about self-defense--even after 20+ years of combatives and martial arts and having had the privilege of getting to train in many of the most respected systems known.
The Sad Fact Is:
Most Self-Defense And Combatives Systems
Teach Things That Are Completely Inappropriate
For Real Life Violence.
Most Self-Defense And Combatives Systems
Teach Things That Are Completely Inappropriate
For Real Life Violence.
Many teach students to go for a “knockout punch” to the chin or temple…which may work if your hands are taped and gloved, but skulls are about as hard as a brick and even world champion boxers and MMA fighters break their hands with frightening regularity…so much so that it’s called a “boxer’s fracture.”
What else? Well, if you've spent any time punching things HARD (hard enough to hurt what you're hitting), you've had your wrist collapse on you and ended up with a sprain.
Word to the wise…if you get a boxer’s fracture or sprained wrist in a fight for your life, EVERYTHING after that is going to be exponentially more difficult. From striking to using your firearm to calling 911 to opening doors or driving. Adrenaline may block most of the pain, but your hand's just not going to work quite right.
In Fight To Your Gun, you’ll learn striking techniques that are MUCH more effective than punching that seamlessly mesh with the fact that you want to transition to a more effective tool as quickly as possible. (In fact, you’ll learn the brain science of why your brain won’t let you punch as hard as you can deliver other strikes.)
Many programs teach blocking techniques that don’t really work outside of a dojo. Don’t get me wrong…they work mechanically, but the process of identifying WHAT strike is coming and WHICH block to use just takes too long. That’s why you never see a professional fighter use a formal martial arts block.
In Fight To Your Gun, you will learn defensive techniques…but they’re based on the startle flinch response, they’re almost exactly the same for every attack, and you’ll learn how to seamlessly and immediately transition to weaponizing your defense to stop the attack quicker than what’s possible with other systems.
It’s not only quicker to learn and practice fewer defensive techniques--having fewer options in a fight will allow you to respond MUCH quicker.
Almost all fighting systems have stances…yet real fights on the street don’t. In real violence, your ability to strike while moving and off balance at odd distances trumps your ability to deliver a punishing strike to a bag or pad under ideal training conditions.
To make matters worse, if you take an aggressive fighting stance too early and it’s caught on video or bystanders see it, it can make your actions look like mutual combat instead of self defense and complicate things for you in court.
In Fight To Your Gun, you’ll learn non-violent postures that will slash the time it takes you to react to attacks, but that will make it clear to bystanders and cameras that you were the intended victim.
So, whether you’re a lifelong fighter or never want to set foot in a dojo, this training will fill in a critical gap in your current self defense plan.
Fight To Your Gun builds on Doc’s performance neurology background their combined backgrounds in training and real life violence to give you one of the most scientifically validated combatives systems on the planet.
So, how's it work...
It’s ridiculously simple.
I flew down to Phoenix to attend TRS’s $1,750.00 “Counter Ambush & Assault” training and we filmed all 3 days of the class covering how to use empty hands and whatever you’ve got in your hands to counter a surprise ambush.
For the first 3 days, Doc, Tyler, and Leo covered training designed to give you the time and space you need when going straight for your gun isn’t an option. They covered how to identify attacks with pre-incident indicators, stances that look innocent but prepare you to defend yourself, defending against surprise attacks, and counter attacking.
On day 4, I joined them and we recorded additional segments on transitioning to a gun as well as the highest leverage at-home drills that integrate empty hands, improvised tools, and firearms to prepare you for surprise attacks that you won’t see coming.
Then, we edited and distilled the 25+ hours of video training down to the highest leverage fighting-to-your-gun material…training that tips the odds in your favor. The hypothetical goal is that if someone we loved on the other side of the country only had 2 hours to learn and practice for an attack that’s going to happen tonight that they can’t avoid, THIS is the training that we’d send them.
This training is perfect for guys like me who train several times a week, but I realize that’s not normal, so we included quick sets of drills that anyone can do a few minutes at a time, a couple times a week. You can even incorporate it into your current dry fire practice.
Interested? Of course you are!
How to Get The Training
There are only 2 ways to get this training…
Option #1. You can fly to Phoenix, pay for a hotel, and pay $1,750.00 for the 3 day class the next time it’s offered (It’s only offered 2 times per year) and then pay $300 per hour for private lessons with Doc, Tyler, Leo, or me for the training from the 4th day.
But that’s just not going to work for most people. Since you’ve read this far, you know how urgent and important this need is. You probably don’t have months to wait to get the training…you know you need it now and know it fills a critical gap that you have in your current self-defense plan.
You simply never know when this training might mean the difference between life and death.
I don’t say that to be overly dramatic. The fact is that by definition, you simply don’t know when a surprise attack will occur. If you knew when and where you were going to be attacked, it wouldn’t be a surprise and you could just avoid being there…or come with a team.
But you don’t know when a surprise attack may happen to you or a loved one.
That’s why it’s so important that you go through this training sooner rather than later. Like right now.
And that’s why we have another “fast mover” option for you that you’re going to want to jump on immediately.
It’s for decisive people who can see how important and valuable this training is and who can take quick, decisive action when they see an opportunity like this.
So, Option #2 is that you can get the complete Fight To Your Gun training, right here, right now, for only $97 and start using the training in the next 10 minutes.
It’s just over 2 hours of classroom teaching, demonstration, and follow-along drills like you’ve never seen before, but that will soon become the standard for effective training to fight with a handgun.
Simple, easy, training, proven in multiple life and death situations that will dramatically increase your odds of being able to get to your gun and survive a violent attack.
This training is not available anywhere else in any other form and represents a dramatic improvement over any other training on the market.
Best of all, it’s guaranteed. If you decide that it’s not for you at any point in the next 60 days, we’ll refund your money immediately…but the chances of that happening are pretty much zero. The training and teaching methods have been proven from Tier I to grandmas and soccer moms so you have absolutely no risk when you order now by clicking the button below.
Common Questions.
-Won’t Dry Fire Hurt My Gun?
Answer: If your gun is a quality factory made (preferably US, Israeli, or European made) handgun that was made since Reagan beat Carter and is a center-fire (not rimfire like .22), then you’re good to go. In fact, many handgun manuals explicitly say that it’s fine to dry fire. If you have any doubts, read your manual, contact the manufacturer, or ask a local gunsmith.
-I’ve trained with the best instructor at the best school in the world. Are you going to try to change my technique?
Answer: No. The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge or Dry Fire Training Cards will not replace current techniques that you have. They are not dogmatic and if you’d compare them to a country, they’d most resemble Switzerland–everyone gets along with Switzerland. The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge was designed so that every single instructor and school in the country can confidently sell them with the knowledge that the drills will help their students. In fact, I’m open to making custom decks for schools that are interested in having their branding and verbiage on the cards.
The purpose of The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge isn’t to teach technique, it’s to help you take the best technique that you already know and help you develop neural pathways so that you can execute solid fundamentals (rather than spraying and praying) under stress.
-I’m a newbie shooter. Will The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge work for me?
-I’m a special forces firearms instructor at the Special Warfare Center and School. How in the heck will your challenge help a bad ass like me?
Answer: The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge and Dry Fire Training Cards will help any shooter who wants to improve their speed, accuracy, and precision. One problem with traditional dry fire training is that if you do the same dry fire training all the time, the mind learns to filter it out and the neural pathways don’t translate over to live fire.
The variety of exercises you’ll get and the multifaceted approach means that your mind will get enough variety to be stimulated and for growth to keep happening.
Dry Fire Training Cards are designed to work best after a shooter has received SOME instruction from a qualified instructor…preferably an NRA, law enforcement, or military instructor with proper emphasis on safety and correct form.
This means that if you’ve trained at high end national schools like Frontsight, Gunsite, Suarez, Sig, ICE, Blackwater/Xe/Academi, Costa Ludas, Thunder Ranch, or any of the thousands of elite local trainers across the country, these cards will help drive home the lessons you paid to learn. Put another way, they’ll convert the techniques that you paid to learn and know in your head into skills that you can actually depend on under stress.
Fitness level
-I’m in horrible shape. Will The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge still work for me?
-I’ve got nerve/muscle issues that cause the shakes. Will The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge work for me?
-I’m a world champion fitness guru. Will your 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge and Dry Fire Training Cards work for me?
-I have a non-functional/amputated limb. Will your 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge work for me?
Answer: The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge is not dogmatic and users can alter the drills so that they are more or less challenging without compromising the benefits of the drills. As you find drills that work particularly good for you, I’d ask that you email them to me so that I can share them with others.
Every single person is going to have a performance ceiling. If you’ve got the shakes or are in your 80s and out of shape, your groups won’t be as fast, tight, and accurate as if you were in the best shape of your life, but the drills WILL still help you shoot better.
A lot of shooters that I know (my 77 year old mother included) can’t shoot as much as they like anymore because of hand and wrist pain, but still view their firearms as a primary self-defense tool. Dry fire is a perfect tool for people in this situation.
Safety
-Is The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge safe?
-Won’t I put a hole in my TV if I do dry fire?
In this day and age, nothing is safe. If you try to eat Dry Fire Training Cards, you could choke, get indigestion, or some other crazy problem. You could get a paper cut from Dry Fire Training Cards. You could get carpel tunnel syndrome getting to an email with your training. If you roll a card up, you could probably shove it in your ear and do some pretty good damage. I’m not joking with these examples—simply highlighting how warped our society has become in regards to “safety” and blame. In short, they’re not safe and if that’s a concern, you probably shouldn’t buy them.
Using The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge and Dry Fire Training Cards is another matter. By definition, dry fire training is responsible training with a weapon platform without any ammunition present or training, an inert weapon platform, or with a simulated weapon platform. You can still get hurt if you fall on it, trip and fall while doing a drill, etc.
But, if you have a negligent discharge during your training, then you weren’t doing dry fire. Dry fire is responsible training with a weapon platform without any ammunition present, an inert weapon platform, or training with a simulated weapon platform. If a live round of ammunition gets introduced into the mix, it is not dry fire and it is not an accident—it’s negligence and it’s your responsibility to keep it from happening.
When you join The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge, I’ll share a handful of quick resources with you for safer dry fire training, but it’s important to remember that the purpose of a firearm is to project massive kinetic force and penetrate objects at a distance and anything you do with a firearm includes a significant amount of risk.
Will you sell these to kids under 18/21?
Adults who own firearms should have all firearms in their house secured so that unauthorized users can’t access them. It is their choice and responsibility, not mine or the cards, to determine who has access to the firearms. That being said, the drills can be done with inert training platforms like blue guns, SIRTs, or even kinetic platforms like airsoft (with the approval and supervision of the parent).
In addition, once you’ve done the drills for real and can see yourself doing the drill in your mind, Dry Fire Training Cards can be used for mental rehearsal without any platform whatsoever—just by going through the drills in your head. In fact, mental imagery (without physical movement) is a way that you can do firearms training on ANY commercial airline flight in the world—or even while you’re going through airport security…that is, until they start arresting people for thought crimes.
Will The 21 Day Alpha-Shooter Challenge work with revolvers?
The terminology used in Dry Fire Training Cards is directed towards semi-automatic firearms shooters because that is what most people carry for self-defense purposes. Again, since the cards are fundamental and not dogmatic, they will work for revolvers as well as they work for semi-automatics. A few of the cards won’t be applicable (like malfunction drills) but the majority will be.
